What others say

“Beverley's class is fun and rewarding.  I always feel more balanced and centered afterwards.  She has a great sense of humor, chooses excellent music, and gives us interesting things to think about.  I highly recommend her class.”

“Due to a joint condition, I have difficulty with most forms of exercise.  Even 'low-impact' water aerobics is often too hard on my knees, and I use a wheelchair for shopping or traveling any significant distances.

I'd previously had positive experience with Feldenkrais, and I was attracted by Nia's combined emphasis on cardiovascular, strength, and balance.

I enjoy Nia more than I could have imagined!  I freely modify any routine, listening to my body and finding gentle ways to exercise.  The simple movement of different muscles during dance is therapeutic, releasing tension in my body.

Beverley's joy and exuberance is contagious, and she always brings a smile to my face several times each class!  I leave feeling energized and refreshed.”

“You are an inspiration, and it feels good.  I feel relaxed, rested, and empowered after each class.  You have a great blend of encouragement, information, enthusiasm, talent and sensitivity.”

Michelle Graves

“I just think you are a wonderful teacher – you make it fun and comfortable, and I don’t feel silly being new and messing up!! Thanks!”

Katherine Saputo

“Beverley was recommended to me by another teacher, and what a wonderful find.  She is full of joy and caring, as well as expertise in Nia.  Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious.  I sometimes go into her class in the late afternoon a little tired, but it only takes her wonderful smile and encouragement for me to feel great again!  I have strongly recommended her classes to two of my close friends.  As one friend said, if you like it that much, I want to join!

I have actually turned 70 this year and my life is enriched by Beverley.  She is a fine human being as well as a teacher.”
